The start of a New Year for Paws-itivity with lots of ideas to keep the year interesting for you all. As you expect I will be continually increasing my professional development. First on the list will be to complete a first aid course for our canine friends. This has been top of my list for some time but I have yet to find one that is suitable. I will of course be continuing my work and training towards my Kennel Club Accreditation. This is a continually ongoing task to build my portfolio but I have the support of a local mentor who is keeping me on the right track.
Along with the paperwork side of Paws-itivity I hope to increase the number of training classes I hold to include specific workshops and even hope to find a venue to hold agility training. If there is anything that you would like to know more about, or even suggest any training options then please don’t hesitate to contact me as I’ll be more than happy to assist.
Finally on my personal side I’m looking forward to the agility season starting again so that I can start competing with my two dogs as it is so much fun. The early mornings are the worst part of it, but once you’re out on the road to another venue it is soon forgotten and you’re looking forward to the day ahead.
